Gump

Dr. Lee Gump - Danville Area High School Principal

Dr. Gump received his Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. While employed as a middle school teacher, Dr. Gump earned his Masters in Educational Leadership from Bucknell University, and his Doctor of Education degree from Immaculata University.   

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Gump has served as an elementary school principal, middle school principal, and high school principal. He has also helped coordinate many district responsibilities including the Teacher Induction program, the English Language Learner program, K-12 Testing, and Student Teaching placements. As the DAHS principal, Dr. Gump and the entire DHS community proudly accepted the 2014 National Blue Ribbon designation as an exemplary school for closing the achievement gap. 

Dr. Gump is dedicated to serving the students and families of the Danville Area School community.
